A lace closure typically is 4 x 4 inches in size and gives a natural-looking hairline for a section of your install or wig. They can come in free, middle, or three parts. Over some time, they have been getting bigger allowing for more scalp likeness to be given and more versatility. Lace closures require little maintenance because they are smaller pieces of lace and the most you would do with them is wash, condition, and style. They tend to last longer as well with proper care of course because they do not require to be glued or need an additional product to make them stay in place. For those that don’t want to try a full frontal but still want the option of not having to blend your natural hair with your bundles or simply want to try a new color, lace closures protect your natural hair while allowing you to still slay. But keep in mind that with a lace closure for the most part you will be limited in the styling you can do.
